Yeah, I know what you mean about having dark dreams. I have those quite often, too. I didn’t elude to that much in my post, but I often dream someone is after me or trying to kill me. I mean, geez! I’m a happy and balanced person (I think???). I think that’s why I wrote at the end of the post to try to take them lightly and be entertained by them. Otherwise, I’d never go to sleep! ha

Oh yeah, and definitely (!) go buy some of those $2 glow-in-the-dark stars and put them on your walls/ceiling! They are so dazzling and every night they look so groovy!! They’re worth it (and so are you!!).

I really enjoyed your story! I am quite a vivid dreamer too. My dreams tend to be quite dark, however. They are full of foreshadowing and scary things. If they aren’t scary, they generally hint at something in my life that is a difficult subject for me.

Also, I think it’s completely awesome that you have stars on your ceiling. I want to do that now!

Second, this post read just like a dream. Lots of writers try to do the dream thing and choke. Bravo!

Hmmmm, I hadn’t heard that before about the types of dreams. My husband must have the most restful sleep as he swears he never dreams. I can’t think of a night where I haven’t dreamt. I’m jealous…

A lot of times, the more weird my dreams, the harder it is to piece them together – so I usually don’t try (ha).

I once read that there are three kinds of dreams: the prophetic kind, the kind that are due to the things that came across your path during the day, and the ones that are glimpses into what happened in a past life.

Supposedly the best and more relaxing kind of sleep is when you do not dream at all. I love sleep like that.

As for any recent crazy dreams, I had one last night which was so weird…but I cannot remember the details. Oh well.

Most of the time, my dreams have meaning; They are my subconscious mind dealing with the things that my awakened mind can’t (or won’t) process fully, or my intuition guiding me towards truth via images and symbolism.
