I’m not posting this to say, “Hey, look how cool the US is,” I just really love the heart of soul of the vocalist, Grandpa Elliott.
If you haven’t checked out the Playing for Change (PFC) website, it is worth a look. The PFC organization is creating change by connecting the world via music, quite literally.
At their the web site, you’ll see PFC has spanned the globe featuring artists from all walks of life. You’ll also find that Grandpa Elliott was discovered singing on the streets of Louisiana, an amazing story.

Oh, wow…what a touching rendition of “God Bless America”. I just feel such passion and love in his voice, for this place he calls home. This is so wonderful to listen to! And I’ve loved a couple of the group songs this organization has put together, although I’ve never checked out their website. I’m off to see it!
