Happy Friday everyone!

I recently happened across a dude that seriously makes me explode with smiles. He’s the only person I know who can make stick figures come alive while conveying funny, passionate, and sometimes jarring emotions. Please help me welcome Steven today, kick back, and enjoy the ride! Also, check out this post rife with raw truths and take a peek at this funny comic lesson. Good for you, Steven, for being REAL (well, a real stick man sometimes, anyway – lol) and for making me smile!

Thank you, Steven, for crafting this comic for Jane Be Nimble! I’m honored!

I’m saving this for the day you’re famous and I can say I knew you back in the day….

Just don’t forget us little people. ;)

I’m glad I can make you laugh Jay! Laughter reduces stress, and stress is related to 99% of all illnesses! (saying out facts make me seem smart!…I like it!:))

Come again to my blog and I’ll give you more cures for your stress (if you have any) lol.

Thanks for stopping by today. Steven’s funny, eh?
I’m glad you agree. Somehow Steven has a way of summarizing life in a few panes – it’s really quite amazing. :P

    Hey Steven,

Yeah, I guess I *do* say the word, “AWESOME” a lot. But, hey, I’m from California and that’s the official state word. ;) -jk
Thanks again for being my comic man!

Yeah, to be honest, I first saw Steven’s stick figures and thought, what??

But then it hit me how good they are and how much REALNESS can be packed into a few panes of a comic.

It also makes me realize I should spend more in the funny/humorist genre as I keep gravitating that way.

      Anyhoo, sorry for the ramble…
      Have a great weekend!

Yes Tim I am cool :D lol jk

I’d like to be cool with my stick figures and I’m glad you think that I am! lol Because sometimes drawing too many stick figures in real life might just come off as a little bit…um…weird…

Well anyways, I’m glad I made you laugh, and I look forward for making you laugh even more! :D

Hey, Lori! This is awesome! I hadn’t heard of Steven or the Human Explosion before today, but I’m so glad I have now. These are wonderful, Steven! And I love your emphasis on acceptance and appreciation. What a beautiful message.

Hey Lisis, I give great thanks to you and I’m glad you’ve stumbled upon my source of craziness over at the Lori’s awesome domain! :)

And yes, acceptance and appreciation are great factors to the happiness in my life. Because how can you be happy with your life if you cannot accept the faults in it, and how can you be happy with what you have if you don’t appreciate them? That is what I believe, and I hope I can spread more of that through my comics and posts in my blog :)

Thank you for reading Lisis, and thank you for being the awesome Lori! :D

    Hi Lori and Steven.

This is great material. You can’t stop this guy we know as Steven. It is entertaining material, and very unique. That erasing hand is realistic.

Lori the font you have set for comments is just wonderful. I don’t think I see this font used anywhere else.

      November 6, 2009 | 6:33 pm

      Hey Armen,
It’s great to see you here! I’ve seen you around cyberspace, and now I’m going to check out your blog.

Anyhoo, I wanted to jump in here and agree wholeheartedly with you! I think Steven really has something here – combining PD with comic relief, now that’s an idea that’s got legs! (Er, uh, well, maybe at least stick legs! LOL)

Thanks for your comment about my typeface here in the comments, too. I actually spent a LONG time searching for a solution that would allow me to do this easily (my Headway Theme) – to use this font in comments. I’m kind of a font nut actually, maybe one day I’ll do a post about that. So, that’s a long, drawn-out way to say thanks and I’m glad you like it, too! Thank you, Armen!

Have a great weekend and thanks for helping me to pump up this Steven guy. He’s got the chops!
      :P
