Okay, I’m laughing out loud! Indiana Lance!! I love it! So, I’ll bounce that one off my family members…and see if I get the same love of that name! (hmm…I wonder??)

I’m packing my bags…where shall we go?? I’m going to suggest the desert – we have this thing about rain following us wherever we go! Of course, that will probably only bring unprecedented flooding to the sand. Bring an umbrella (hey, I bet you have little personal ones for everyone in your family!).

Ha!! This has created a great family memory, although there were moments when “creating a great family memory” was that last thing from my mind! What really worked was that we didn’t get upset (for the most part!), and really just went with the flow.

I try my best to NOT make these stories “read” like an interview. I’d rather anyone be able to open up this web page (series) and feel like he or she is right here on the porch with us.

I totally agree, goofy is life, so why not just enjoy the moments???
Lance was a great example of this. I’m lucky to know him and to have coerced him to be subjected to my Porch.
