Hey, really great that you’re a swimmer, too. I love swimming because it’s something I’ve always been able to do, even when recovering from an injury or such.

Keep up the great work and keep those tooties in the pool. I’m banking on the hope that someday all my swimming will graduate me to transformation into a mermaid.

As for me, I so share your love of silence and/or nature. There is just such serenity in that, such peace! And I also love swimming – has been a love of mine since I was a teen and it is not going away ever

That’s really cool that you get to spend so much time with your dad! I really miss my dad — he’s still alive but living in a different part of the country, so I don’t get to see him very much.

You sound like a great son, Hulbert. You dad is really lucky to have you, and vice versa. I think your comment just melted “me” like butter!

I hope you found a new source of inspiration or information in my short list — I very much enjoy all of these. The hard part was limiting my list; there’s sooo many great blogs out there, don’t you think?

I can’t agree more, family is absolutely in there, too. My step-daughter had a baby who’s now TWO and she’s such a treat. She’s a barrel of fun and It’s been really fun to watch her grow and discover. It’s fun that she’s still more interested in wrapping paper than what’s inside! ha ha
