Hi, my name is Lori Franklin, author of Jane Be Nimble.

My Creed
Create your day! I live and breathe by this concept. Read this post for my summary of the mantra.
I write for a series for JBN titled: Your Body is a Fortress covering topics from DNA to your physiology.
For a cornucopia of popular posts, personal favorites, guest posts at other bloggers’ sites, and posts that generated lively discussion—hand-selected by yours truly—visit JBN Favorites.
What Does JaneBeNimble Mean, Anyway?
Nature/Science
Inspiration
Mind
Body
Leadership
Entrepreneurship
So there you have it, NIMBLE. Most of my posts will fall into these six categories, but I can’t promise all of my posts will fit.
(I didn’t want to call my blog “Jack be Nimble,” like the nursery rhyme goes, because, well, I’m a chick.)
To get a feel for my “Just A Story” Category posts, read my posts about the ocean and running, or to steep yourself in the human condition—via peoples’ stories—at my weekend Front Porch series.

Merriam-Webster’s definition of Nimble—also at the foundation of JBN
1: quick and light in motion :agile <nimble fingers>
2: marked by quick, alert, clever conception, comprehension, or resourcefulness <a nimble mind>
Etymology:Middle English nimel, from Old English numol - holding much

My Posting Schedule
I usually post 2-3 days per week—no promises, though. When the writing muse hits me with her hammer, I usually try to nail down a post.
You’re more than welcome to read along, send me your thoughts, introduce yourself, set me straight, tell me your views, ask me a question, or just drink a cup of coffee with me as you read.
Please email lori [at symbol] janebenimble [dot] com any time or reach me via my Contact Page.

Recently, a friend asked me to upload more images of me, so, without further ado, take a peek!
