I have been searching long and hard for an improved solution for my blog theme. I wanted to be able to customize my header, fonts, colors, sidebars, and other elements, but wasn’t in the mood for the more CSS and coding challenges. So, I found a customizable solution, called Headway, that fits my needs to a tee.

I’ve decided to work on some of the customization while the site is live and post tips and tricks about how to best use Headway if any of you out there are in the process of making the same decision about your theme. Check this page for updates about my progress and what I’ve learned along the way.

Reasons I chose to purchase Headway:

  • I love customizing and personalizing websites almost as much as writing the content for my blog. Headway allows me freedom!
  • Headway allows me to personalize all pages and blog posts, if I so desire.
  • Headway allows me to customize sidebar(s) and the widgets panel (fonts, colors, images, etc.).
  • Headway lets me give my website a face lift using the Headway Design panel.
  • Headway employs a sizable “leaf” concept for additional flexibility (the links in the sidebar and welcome message at the home page are configured in a leaf) in the Headway Layout Editor.
  • Please comment to a post or email me if you have questions about this theme or comments about my blog. I’d love your feedback.

If you’re ready to start making Headway on your site, click the blue box on the right panel. Have fun! I upgraded my site, not including the time it took me for graphical design of my new header, in about an hour.
